Rather than go for the TV remote or nearest computer, try picking up a nice good book. Books require no electricity and can be very entertaining. Book it up!
It may seem old fashioned, but recycling is a great way to go green. Have bottles, cans or even electronics lying around? Take them to the nearest recycling center and get some cash in your pockets.
If there is a breeze in the air, open those windows and let the breeze fill up your home. Just make sure you have screens, otherwise you will get some unwanted bugs.
Is it cold in here? A nice sweater should do the trick. Unless it’s freezing, put on some extra layers and you’ll be fine and dandy.
Now that everyone has caught the green fever, there are tons of products on the market that are great to support. Not only can you support others who are going green but you can be green yourself.
Have a ton of odds and ends lying around? Chances are, you can use them for something. Get creative!
If anything, this will help you appreciate the beauty of nature and how important it is to preserve it. After all, that’s what going green is all about.
Leaving these plugged in can still use up electricity. Not using the stereo at night? Unplug it.
That faster you drive, the more gas you use. You’ll get where you’re going, so why use more gas than necessary?
